REVERE’S RIDERS

News Flash – Ohio Joins Revere’s Riders

Revere’s Riders is a 501C3 non-profit. They are affiliated with the Civilian Marksmanship Program, National Rifle Association, and NV Firearms Coalition. Over a hundred volunteers across the nation actively promote traditional marksmanship, American history, and civic engagement.

Revere’s Riders primary goal is “to educate the general public in marksmanship.” This includes educating the general public on pro-firearms issues, promoting the safe and responsible use of all firearms and range equipment and teaching the safe enjoyment of all areas of shooting sports.

The branch of “Revere’s Riders” that focuses on history is called Revere’s Messengers. From their website: “We believe in the importance of the history that makes up our shared Heritage as Americans. These stories encompass the birth of our country and the growth of the American ideals of Liberty, Responsibility, and Independence….at events hosted by Revere’s Messengers, you will hear true tales of those who founded this country, of their struggles and sacrifices in the American Revolution and beyond.”

What is civic engagement? For Revere’s Riders it is “the encouragement of the general public to become involved in the political process and the issues that affect all of us.”
