2025 ORPA Highpower Clinic

                     

Dates: Saturday, March 29th and Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Location: ECCL Clubhouse and 200-300 yard range.  815 Mason Road E, Milan, OH 44846.

Directions: Ohio Turnpike to Rt 250 North.  Right onto Mason Road.  0.75 miles on the left into ECCL driveway.
Ohio Rt 2 to Rt 250 South.  Left onto Mason Road.  0.75 miles on the left into the ECCL driveway.

Lodging: Large selection of hotels available on Rt 250 during the Cedar Point off-season.

Eligibility: This clinic is open to all qualified shooters 12 years or older.  Junior shooters under 18 must have a responsible parent remain with them during the entire course of the Clinic.

Entries: Pre-registration is HIGHLY recommended for this event, as we expect it to fill quickly.  Participants will need to sign a CMP eligibility affidavit and liability agreement along with an ECCL liability waiver.

Range Capacity:  Range capacity for this event will be capped at 32 participants.

Time to arrive: Clubhouse will open approximately 0800 on Saturday.  Day 1 Classroom session will begin at 0900.  Arrive no later than 0830.  Sunday, 0930.

Registration: Pre-registration is HIGHLY recommended.  Please email nwolsh3150@yahoo.com to RSVP.  Accepted registrations will receive a confirmation email.  Priority will be given in the following order: ECCL Highpower shooters, ORPA members, juniors, and then out-of-state participants.

Time of Firing: Saturday, classroom instruction will run from 0900 to 1200.  Range time will run from 1230 to 1700.
Sunday, range time will run from 1000 to the conclusion of the Clinic.

Rules: Current ECCL & CMP Competition Rules will apply.  Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI) are mandatory.

Fees: $60 per participant, $20 per junior.  Cash only, payable upon check-in on Saturday.

Rifles Allowed: Service Rifle (Rules 4.1.1, 4.1.3, 4.1.4), Alternative Rifle (Rule 4.1.2).

Food: Lunch will be provided on Saturday.  Competitors are responsible for providing their own food and beverage on Sunday.

Ammunition: Participants must supply approximately 150 rounds of their own safe ammunition.  No incendiary or tracer ammo is permitted.

Course of Fire: Saturday morning will be classroom instruction in the ECCL Clubhouse. Afternoon live-fire training will be conducted on the 200-300 yard range.  All participants MUST attend the classroom sessions to live-fire in the Clinic.
Sunday we will run two, 45-shot matches.  The first match will be coached, the second will be a standard ECCL match with 5 sighters, 10 slow-offhand, 10 rapid-sitting, 10 rapid-prone, and 10 slow-prone shots fired.
