Trap & Skeet Volunteers Needed

With Heather leaving ECCL as the Trap and Skeet Manager, the Board has been faced with many challenges in seeking a replacement. While that is an ongoing discussion and process, if we want Trap and Skeet Shooting at ECCL in the short term, we have to operate with a team of VOLUNTEERS.

With two exceptions, there are no paid personnel at ECCL. We have a bookkeeper, and a 1099’d cleaning person. Everything else is operated by volunteerism; The Board of Trustees, the RSO’s, Maintenance and Landscaping, and for the past few months the T&S operations.

We have had a few people volunteering; opening the facilities, cleaning snow, placing buckets, loading houses, and covering the T&S window. Unfortunately, 2 or 3 people are not enough to sustain the program. As such, we are asking that as a member, evaluate whether you can donate 4-5 hours or more of your time a month to keep our Trap and Skeet Program running. Tom John will be available to assist 90% of the time, but we need someone to step up for each day of operations, learn the processes and commit to be responsible for the day.

We need 6-10 people to make this program work and be sustainable. You may only need to participate one day every other month. ANY TIME is valuable to the Trap and Skeet Program on the whole. Please send your name and email/contact information to ECCLTAS@gmail.com indicating that you are available to help re-establish the T&S program.
